The Error protocol and latency of your connection is also important. If your not doing sports and need to save some bandwidth you can make it smaller. Otherwise the small object (puck, ball, ect) may skip across the screen. If you have a lot of fast action (hockey pucks are one of the toughest) then your numbers are best to keep the detail of fast moving small objects. With MP4 compression I am doing 1080i in 6 Mb/s and 720p in 5 Mb/s BUT we are not doing sports. I am not streaming from the Tricaster but we do a lot of live media over IP and your numbers are very good.
